The Graffiti Research Lab is dedicated to outfitting graffiti writers, artists and protestors with open source tools for urban communication. The goal of the G.R.L. is to technologically empower individuals to creatively alter and reclaim their surroundings from commercial and corporate culture. G.R.L. agents are currently working in the lab and in the field to develop and test a range of experimental technologies for the state-of-the-art graffiti writer.This site documents those efforts with video documentation and DIY instructions for each project.

Stimulux, the co-runner of Neovinyl, mixes this house music set in a Southern Sounds flavoured style. He’s using naturally unfurling deep tunes which dip into a dancefloor territory for this second volume of Southern Sounds.

Alexandre Navarro makes his return to Archipel with “Ame” which is a relaxing splash in puddles of light. “Blow” is a hypnotic dip into a pool of crackled sunlight wrapping its aural arms around all who venture in.

“Silence” is an ethereal floating walk beside a geometric lake of echoing digital crickets while “Lem” is a more frantic climb through windy caverns where pebbles are constantly shifting around under ones cerebral feet.
